The legendary circuit

One day, one tour: the unforgettable Gorges du Tarn et de la Jonte by car

It’s a must-do, a “must-do!” for your vacation. On your way, you’ll discover gems of the Grands Causses, real little wonders: from the cliffs of the Jonte to the desert plateau of the Causse Méjean, from breathtaking panoramas to the deepest gorges and refreshingly picturesque villages. What a program! Photographers, you’ll find superb vantage points all along the way!

The road was opened at the beginning of 1900, making it easy to get around by car, camper van or bus. For larger vehicles, the height limit is 3.90 m (ideally 3.80 m) and the maximum length is 13 m!

Perched villages, troglodyte villages, listed waterside villages, all shelter beneath high cliffs in a fabulous natural setting.
